I think it was definitely worth the money. All the colours are gorgeous and most of them are wearable. I am so happy that I managed to get this palette before it sold out. It is your standard shimmery silver that you get in most palettes – still beautiful on the eye!

Again, I don’t know how to wear this! Chronosphere is a shade that I wear a lot! It is a gorgeous neutral brown that goes with everything. It isn’t very pigmented so it takes a lot of it to show up. I just wouldn’t know how to wear it! The next shade, Dream On is a beautiful kind of lilac shimmer. This column is one of the prettiest! I love all the colours! I just don’t wear them as they are very unique shades and are hard to pair with other colours! The blue shade, Time, is so so pigmented and deep in colour. Left to right: Time, Dream On, Chronosphere, Mirror Only difference being is that it isn’t iridescent. I wish this was just a tiny bit more pigmented as it is fairly similar to Lily in the column before. It blends so nicely and is super pigmented! The last shade is called Royal Flush. The aqua shade has the tiniest bits of shimmer mixed in which makes it super pretty and stand out a lot! I’m in love with deep shimmery red colours at the moment and this one is just perfect. The deep blue doesn’t blend the nicest I have to say but it is pure blue. I really love the aqua blue shade, Heads Will Roll and the pure shimmery red shade, Salazen Grum. Left to right: Heads Will Roll, Bandersnatch, Salazen Grum, Royal Flush I don’t think Chessboard is the right name for the shade as when I think of a Chessboard, Black and white spring to mind not brown! Oh well… It is just an all round pretty colour that is really lovely to blend throughout the crease. Urban Decay Alice Through the Looking Glass Lipsticks (0.11 oz.) individually retail for 18 USD (21 CAD) and is said to be 'a line of five limited-edition shades of lipstick inspired by the characters from Disneys Alice Through the Looking Glass film.' Iracebeth is described as a bright red matte. The last shade, Chessboard is a matte brown. I am in love with this column as I am a sucker for brown/gold eyeshadow! The second to last shade, Kingdom, is a gorgeous shimmery brown. They are two of my favourite shades from this whole palette as they are just so unique.

It was very hard to take a good photo of these shades! The first two that you can see are iridescent. Left to right: Lily, Duchess, Kingdom, Chessboard I’m in love with the shade Cake! First of all, the name suits it so much – it just fits perfectly! Secondly, it is one of those shades that can be applied really gently or really strong in colour.

The purple shade would be perfect for a dark smokey eye around Autumn time! It has a few flecks of shimmer in it. It is a bright orange with some red undertones. I love the shade Paradox as it is so reflective. The green shade is so pretty and isn’t something I’d buy individually so it is lovely to try something different. I really like how these shades have been put together as you wouldn’t normally find them all together in a palette. They are so pigmented and gorgeous shades. Left to right: Hatter, Gone Mad, Paradox, Cake Dormouse is an orange-toned brown – it looks a lot nicer than it sounds! Lastly, Metamorphosis is a not-over-the-top shimmer, soft, icy blue. Looking Glass is a soft, subtle pearly colour. I use Looking Glass, Reflection and Dormouse probably the most from the whole set of colours as they are great neutrals and really good as base colours. I’d say these are definitely the palest colours out of the palette by far! They are pigmented but they are soft and very buildable. Left to right: Looking Glass, Reflection, Dormouse, Metamorphosis I really like how they’ve laid the palette out as they have linked colours to certain characters and put them in rows. I was so excited when I first saw this as I knew the colours would be amazing! I haven’t actually seen the film but I do want too! This is the back of the box that the palette comes in. I’ve only just started to work again so I WILL get into a routine soon enough!Īs you can see, this post will be my review of the Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette from Urban Decay. I am so glad I was lucky enough to get my hands on this palette, it is absolutely gorgeous and the shadows are so beautiful and shimmery! I haven’t gotten around to doing a look with them, but once I do I will post details on Instagram and here.

The matte shades seem a little chalky at first stroke, but should work okay once you apply more layers and blend them out evenly. Although they look a lot more pigmented in the pans, once they are swatched they’re not as pigmented, and are more on the iridescent side. I’ve never been a huge fan of Urban Decay‘s eyeshadows, but they definitely got me with these shades.
